Julep's Carrie With Essie Set in Stone

This month I dedcied to order the Valentine's Day Mystery Box because it seemed like a great deal.  One of the nail polishes I recieved was Carrie, a basic light creamy pink.  I really like it, I feel like it goes great with my skin tone and it was a two coater, anyways forgive for the terrible looking nails, it was beginning to chip after 3 days of wear and I forgot to take the pictures sooner...

1 Coat of Essie A Cut Above over 2 Coats of Julep Carrie

In the light.

(Sorry about the tip wear!)

All and all I would recomend it to anyone who loves pinks, and to thoses who are looking for the "perfect" pink.

Color Club Gingerbread Semi-Gradient Manicure

Hey everyone, today I'll be sharing with you a semi-gradient maniqure using Gingerbread from the Color Club Beyond the Mistle Toe collection.  I've had a few of the polishes from the collection for a few weeks and I just got around to using them.

Gingerbread:  A brown tinted gold with rainbow glitter.

I layered Gingerbread over 1 coat of China Glaze Joy: A deep shimmery maroonish purple, in some angles a burgandy purple.

Gorgeous huh!?

Macro, look at that glitter!!

Saran Wrap Nails: Blue and Teal's

Hey guys!  So today is going to be a fun post, I wanted to do something different with my nails and decided on doing a saran wrap mani, you can find out how to do them just about anywhere.  They're super simple, and anyone can do it!  Anyways enough jabber... here are the pictures.

For this mani I used one coat of Maybelline's Color Show Denims in Denim Dash (the dark color) and in contrast I used a light greenish blue color by e.l.f. in the color Mint Cream, to finish the look I added Zoya's Opal which is a sheer type top coat with reflective blue and green flecks.

All in all I love how this manicure turned out!

Here are the polishes left to right: Maybelline Color Show in Denim Dash, e.l.f. nail polish in Mint Cream, Zoya's Opal and Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Top Coat.

Nicole by O.P.I. Kardashian Kolors

I know this polish came out this past spring (2012) but I really wanted to share with you because it's been one of my recent favorite polishes.  I have been looking for a periwinkle color like this for awhile now.  This is exactly what I was searching for!!!

Back to Reality...TV is a gorgeous darker periwinkle color with a subtle bit of pinkish shimmer.  The shimmer is very hard to photograph, and in real life not very noticeable unless your in direct sunlight.  Anyways I'm actually kinda glad the shimmer isn't too noticeable because of how beautiful the color itself actually is.  The consistency of the polish is decent, I'm glad it's not runny, however it can be a bit sheer I ended up using 3 coats in the pictures down below.  You could defiantly get away with 2 coats if you wanted too.
